A number of Kilkenny supermarkets have confirmed they will close their doors during the Status Red Weather Warning in place for Kilkenny from 2am until 10am on Friday morning.
Met Éireann has confirmed that Storm Éowyn will cause very strong to gale force winds and damaging gusts across Kilkenny and most parts of the country.
- Dunnes Stores' Kieran Street outlet will remain closed until Friday morning at 11am.
- SuperValu in Loughboy have confirmed they will open at 10.30am on Friday morning.
- All Aldi stores will stay closed during the Status Red Warning.
