Kilkenny Senator appointed to new senior position

Evanne Ní Chuilinn was selected as one of 11 nominees to the Seanad in February
Fine Gael Senator and Kilkenny native, Evanne Ní Chuilinn has been appointed Government Spokesperson in the Seanad for Arts, Media, Sport and Communications.
Last month, the former RTE Sport presenter was selected as one of 11 nominees to the Seanad put forward by the Taoiseach, Micheal Martin.
"I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute in such an important space. I look forward to engaging with key stakeholders, and helping to shape policy in these vital sectors," Senator Ní Chuilinn said.
"Huge thanks to the Tánaiste for his confidence in me, I can’t wait to get started," she added.
