Irish television and radio legend Baz Ashmawy couldn't resist stopping by Croke's Shop in Mooncoin recently to sample their award-winning 99s.
The shop recently topped the poll in the Kilkenny Live Readers' Choice Award for the 'Best 99s in Kilkenny' and it's clear that word of the achievement is getting around!
The family-run store is managed by three generations of one family who have served the Mooncoin community for over 100 years.
Siblings Margaret, John and Anne Croke are the team behind the shop, today, continuing the tradition that began with their grandparents in 1924.
The success of Croke’s is thanks to the great staff and the support the shop gets from the community, the ‘great customers’.
Baz Ashmawy and his team are in the area to help complete a dream home for the O’Hanlon family, who are in desperate need of an adapted house for their little girl, Aoibhínn.
