An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny were forced into action on the M9 over the weekend as one local driver breached motorway rules.
"Undertaking, followed by an overtake on the M9 a few minutes ago," Kilkenny gardaí posted to social media.
"Our RPU members on the way to a training course couldn't let this one go. FIXED CHARGE NOTICE ISSUED, they added.

"In clarification, the garda vehicle was going faster than the inside lane vehicle but had left a space between itself and the vehicle in front. This is using the two second rule."
