Kilkenny gardaí called into action after reckless driver stopped locally

The Roads Policing Unit of An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny pulled over a driver for dangerous driving in recent days, with the culprit doing twice the legally allowed limit.

Shockingly, the driver stopped in the Johnstown area of North Kilkenny, was caught doing 100km/h in a 50km/h zone.

"Too fast, and a summons for Dangerous Driving to follow," a garda social media post read.

"Separately on the same stretch another driver earned 3 points and a fine for doing 73kmh in a 50," they added.
