Three people brought to hospital after two separate Kilkenny crashes

Three people are understood to have received treatment in hospital following two separate crashes in County Kilkenny.

Gardaí and emergency services responded to a traffic collision involving a van and a car that occurred at approximately 1.30pm on Friday in the Coolbaun area of Castlecomer, in North Kilkenny. Three people, a man aged in his 40s and two male juveniles, were conveyed to St Luke’s General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, Kilkenny Live also received reports of a crash on the main Callan to Clonmel road (N76) on the Callan side on Friday.

The crash is understood to have taken place not far from Poulacapple on the Kilkenny-Tipperary border.
