ICYMI: Kilkenny gardaí release statement as number of people report same crime

"Now this one beats all" is the line coming from An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny after a number of reports of unusual local break ins.

"Gardai in Kilkenny have received several reports from people believing a rather dishevelled individual had broken onto their home and was sitting on their couch or elsewhere," local gardaí posted to social media.

"In all cases so far, this has not been the case but instead a new AI fad on TikTok that places this avatar in your abode.

"The real culprits are probably your kids playing a 'hilarious' trick on their "Boomer" parents.

"You couldn't be up to them," the post concluded.
