Kilkenny gardaí arrest driver as the local war on drugs continues

The Roads Policing unit of An Garda Síochana arrested one driver on suspicion of drug driving and issued numerous others with Fixed Charged Notices (FCNs) while on patrol in the Mooncoin, Piltown region of South Kilkenny.

The latest arrest is just one in a long line of drug driving arrests over recent months locally.

Meanwhile, a number of drivers were given summoned for having no NCT, holding a phone while driving and other offences.
