Local gardaí have confirmed to Kilkenny Live that a body was discovered on Walkin Street in Kilkenny in the early hours of yesterday morning (Saturday).
The body has been removed Waterford General Hospital where a post mortem will take place in due course.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
Investigations are ongoing.
