Locals have expressed fury at the incident (File Photo)
The resident of a property in Kilkenny recently opened their front door to a nasty surprise, as recently highlighted by the Graignamanagh Tidy Towns group.
"A resident opened their door... to find this on their doorstep," a spokesperson said, sharing a picture of dog excrement on a front door mat.

"A reminder to some dog walkers to please clean up after your dog. It’s your responsibility."
Responding, one person commented: "Absolutely disgraceful! The bags are provided. There is absolutely no excuse!"

Another stated: "Seen it myself when passing. It's scandalous to leave that at a person's front door."
