Gardaí from Roads Policing Units in Kilkenny and Thomastown have launched a new Christmas campaign with a high impact operation targeting detection of intoxicated driving and other life saver offences. - PICTURES BELOW
Local gardaí have also teamed up with colleagues from other agencies including Customs and Social Welfare at multi agency checkpoints.
"As befits a Christmas campaign there was also a naughty list with a disqualified driver, a drug driver and numerous offences," a garda spokesperson said.
"Drive safe," they added.
