St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny
Two patients are waiting for a trolley in the emergency department at St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny today (Monday), and a further seven patients are waiting on the ward, according to the latest NMO Trolley Watch figures.
Nationally, 561 patients are waiting for beds, 358 are waiting in the emergency department, and 203 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Today's figures mark a relatively positive start to the week at the local hospital with figures in single digits since Monday.
Over 400 patients were treated on trolleys last month, the highest February figure since 2022 and more than three times last year’s numbers.
Restrictions to combat the spread of norovirus remain in place. Visiting is at the discretion of Ward Managers.
