Kilkenny communications mast set to double in height

A proposal to double the height of a communitcations mast at Keatingstown, Threecastles has been given the green light by Kilkenny County Council.

Vantage Towers Limited was seeking permission for the development consisting of the replacement of an existing 12-metre high support pole carrying associated antennae for a 24-metre high free standing communications structure with its associated antennae, communication dish, ground equipment, fencing and all associated development works.

The development will continue to form part of existing 3G and 4G Broadband network.
