Inspector Paul Donohoe, Sergeant Ted and Garda Andy Neill were attending the launch of the Plough Thru the City event yesterday evening when they met Kim and Nick, tourists visiting from Miami.
Unfortunately, their tour didn't materialise as it was supposed to as the guide didn't turn up (for reasons unknown).
Kim and Nick were only in Kilkenny for one night and further to that, Kim had an accident on the holiday so the gardaí decided to come up with a plan.
The tour happened (well, a garda version) and during the bits where actual history should be told, little stories were recounted, mostly accurate!

Gardaí said it was lovely to meet Kim and Nick.
"Come back soon to the real capital of Ireland," they added.
