LAURA DELANEY - HOTEL KILKENNY Laura is 23 and living in Ballyragget. She’s a Wedding Co-ordinator at Hotel Kilkenny, and grateful to have them as sponsor for Kilkenny Rose. “I’m the proud mammy of two amazing little boys, Luca and Levi. I love spending time outdoors, baking, and getting involved in my community through volunteer work. I’m passionate about raising awareness around suicide and promoting positive mental health. I’d describe myself as kind, friendly, and outgoing, and excited to be part of this year’s Kilkenny Rose.”

MICHELLE DONNELLY - PETALS AND BLOOMS Michelle Donnelly is 24 years old and she is currently studying to be a psychiatric nurse. “I’ve played camogie my whole life for Thomastown, alongside my sisters, cousins and friends,” she says. “I’ve been Irish dancing since the age of four and I would love to open my own dance school in the future. ‘My work placements in the hospital has thought me a lot about myself and how I love working with new people and providing the best care for each individual. “I love socialising with my friends and family I am so excited and grateful to be apart of the Kilkenny Rose this year.”

EMMA BROOKS - PETRONELLA Emma is from Graignamanagh. She’s an English and History teacher, and honoured to be sponsored by Petronella, Kilkenny. “I have taken a gap year this year to fulfil a lifelong dream of travelling around Europe. I love reading and books, and have recently set up a bookclub called ‘Na Cailíní Leabhar’ for fellow booklovers in Kilkenny. I am also incredibly passionate about music. I am the lead singer of a band called ‘Brooklon’ alongside my very talented cousin and two younger brothers.”

HOLLIE BRIEN - WOODSTOCK ARMS INISTIOGE Hollie Brien is 28 years old and she’s currently in college studying healthcare to become a healthcare assistant. Hollie is the assistant manager of the Woodstock arms in Inistioge. “I have been there for almost a year now I can honestly say I love my job. I am a very positive and outgoing person who likes to live each day to the fullest. “I am very grateful for this experience with all the lovely roses! “I would like to thank my boss Malachy Quinn for sponsoring me.”
