Consultation underway for N24 improvements

Kilkenny County Council has commenced a public consultation process on the route corridor options for the N24 Carrick Road Improvement Scheme near the village of Mooncoin.

Three new route corridor options have been developed from studies which followed from a previous Project Appraisal Plan Report.

As part of this public consultation the Council will host a public information drop in day in the Community Centre in Mooncoin from 2 to 7pm on Tuesday, November 27 to give local people an opportunity to view the proposed routes and discuss the options with technical staff from Kilkenny County Council.

The Council is inviting submissions from the public and has prepared a questionnaire which will be available on in the Community Centre on the day. The public information drop in day will be useful for people who wish to submit their comments or observations or complete the questionnaires.
