Emma Kate O’Dwyer is from Glenmore, Co Kilkenny. I am currently working as a anaesthetic nurse in University Hospital Waterford. I have just finished a postgraduate diploma in Specialist Nursing from Trinity College Dublin.
I am involved in Macra na Feirme where I have taken part in club, county and national activities. I am currently the chairperson of Waterford Macra na Feirme and sit on the national committee as a council representative. Recently, I won a National Leadership Award within the organisation. In my spare time I like to go to Macra activities around the country, spend time with family and friends, hiking and walking new trails, and recently baking.
