I’m a psychiatric nurse. I graduated from WIT in 2019 and since then have been working as a nurse. I worked part time as a HCA and nurse in Drakelands Nursing Home Kilkenny, who are my sponsors. I love my job and all the people I work with. No day is the same and I have a great laugh with the residents. I grew up in the countryside about 15 kilometres from Kilkenny City. I like to travel and have been many places. I’ve been inside the pyramids in Egypt, France, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Italy and more. Before Covid I went on a trip along the West Coast of America. Recently I’ve enjoyed exploring closer to home, including the stairway to Heaven in Fermanagh and swimming in the Vico Baths in Dublin. In my free time, I go on long walks, on my own listening to podcasts or with my friends or mam.
