My name is Laura Mary Whelan. I’m 21 years old and I’m a Kilkenny cat by heart.
At present, I’m in my final year of study at University College Cork, but there’s nothing that I love more than coming home to watch Kilkenny playing hurling with my Grandad and a cup of tea. I believe that there is no such thing as too much tea.
All going well, I will be graduating with a joint honors degree in Theatre and Performative Practices and Music this year. I’ve fallen in love with Sean-nós singing and playing the bodhrán. I would love to travel all over the world and play Irish music.
