Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald has said she is recovering well following a surgery on Friday.
Ms McDonald made the announcement of the “personal news” on Twitter and said she expects to be “back in action in a number of weeks”.
She said: “I had surgery on Friday and am now recovering well.
