The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is warning Irish parents of a safety risk identified in a children's toy sold online.
According to the CCPC, the Dream Aircraft Toy sold on the eBay platform presents a risk of choking as a battery compartment on the toy is not secured with a screw.
If a child were to play with the toy the batteries may fall out and the child may choke on them if ingested.
The eBay item number is 165979781982. The carton numbers are SKU G340-TY0499, RVG340-230223-0001-3, D1193439.
Given the online availability of this product on the eBay platform, it may have been sold to customers in Ireland.
If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.
You may wish to contact the eBay seller - which can be done via your user account - to see if there are any remedies available to you.
