Ryan Tubridy when presenting the Late Late Toy Show
APPLICATIONS have now reopened for the RTÉ Late Late Toy Show, with a new host.
Patrick Kielty will be hosting his first Late Late Toy Show, having replaced Ryan Tubridy after a 14 year stint as host.
The applications for the Christmas-time children’s special have now officially reopened, with RTÉ on the ‘hunt’ for the next ‘Toy Show superstars’.
Young singers, dancers, musicians, performers, and toy connoisseurs are encouraged to apply to feature, with the closing date October 1.
“We have started the search for this year’s dreamers - the next generation of Toy Show superheroes,” new host Patrick Kielty said.
“So, if you think you have what it takes to be part of this year’s Late Late Toy Show, we want to hear from you.
“No matter who you are or where you’re from just tell us why you should be joining me for my very first Late Late Toy Show and, you never know, it might just happen.”
The return date for the Late Late is September 15, with the new host taking up his post from then.
