Popular candy with children recalled for 'choking hazard'

A CANDY, popular with children, has been recalled for possible choking hazard.

The Food Safety Authority Ireland (FSAI) have warned that the Toxic Waste Slime Licker Sour Rolling Liquid Candy could be dangerous, as there is a "possibility the rolling ball may detach which could cause choking".

Shops are being warned that if they stock this type of product, to remove them from shelves.

"Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale."

Consumers are being warned that this type of sweet product is potentially dangerous and not to purchase it.
