A driver has been killed in a crash in Cork City.
The single-vehicle incident happened in the outbound lane of the Lower Glanmire Road (N8) in Tivoli shortly before 7am on Monday.
Gardaí are at the scene of a road traffic collision on the Lower Glanmore Road (N8) in Tivoli, Cork.

The victim was the sole occupant of the car.
The road was closed in both directions and diversions were in operation.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
