A middle-aged man was rushed to Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise after an early road crash this morning (Friday July 5).
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two car road traffic incident on the M7 near Togher, Portlaoise, Co Laois at approximately 6am.
A man in his 50s suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The road has been cleared.
Investigations are ongoing.
