A disqualified driver has been caught by gardaí for driving under the influence on the N17.
Sharing a post to X (formerly Twitter), a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "On patrol of the N17 yesterday afternoon we saw this car with a flat tyre being driven in the hard shoulder along by Kilkelly Co Mayo.

When we stopped the driver we discovered that he was disqualified.
