The New York Times (NYT) has named Irish butter brand Kerrygold the 'butteriest butter.'
In an article reviewing the 'best butter', Kerrygold was ranked the best for both baking and eating.
The article, written by Lesley Stockton and Ciara Murray Jordan for the Wirecutter, a product review section of the NYT, revealed:
"The experience of unwrapping a brick of Kerrygold Salted Butter is almost transcendent. Peeling back the golden foil, catching a glimpse of the similarly golden butter beneath, and you’re reaching for a knife and a slice of bread before you even know what you’re doing.

"Golden, grassy, and velvety: Kerrygold is the closest thing to the platonic ideal of butter in most supermarkets."

In a video shared by creator Garron Noone to Instagram on the subject, he said: "Hon the fu**ing Irish, we actually dominate everything we fu**ing attempt. I am actually sick of other countries, they are so s**t. Name one other country that actually does fu**ing anything. We actually do everything here, butter, pints, need I go on?."

The Irish butter brand itself, Kerrygold commented under Noone's post: "Butter & pints, what more could you want?"
