A motorcyclist has died following a crash also involving a car in Co Galway.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash on the N67 near Oranmore after 4pm on Friday.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
His body was removed from the scene to the mortuary at University Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem examination will take place.
There were no other injuries reported.
The scene has been examined by forensic collision investigators and the road has since reopened to traffic.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
