ALERT: 'Discontinue use immediately' - major Irish retailer issues urgent recall for lights

The model is 2788. The SKU is 100139105

Major Irish retailer EZ Living Furniture has issued a recall for a popular household item. 

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), their Spica 8.8m LED Light Chain with Transformer is missing necessary safety details and information. 

The product does not have the appropriate markings, warnings and instructions required under the relevant safety legislation. There are also missing manufacturer details on the product packaging.   

The model is 2788. The SKU is 100139105. 

There are approximately 300 affected products in the Republic of Ireland sold from January 2024.

A spokesperson for the CCPC said in the recall, "If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately."

Consumers can contact EZ Living Furniture to arrange a full refund at  or  customerservice@ezliving.ie

Alternatively, you can also call them on 0818 222 272 from Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm. Proof of purchase is required.
