Gardaí are renewing their appeal in seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 48-year-old Manuel D’Costa, who was reported missing from his home in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim, on Friday, 16th May 2025.
Manuel was last seen at approximately 6am.
Manuel is described as being 6 feet 1 inch in height, with black hair and brown eyes.
When last seen, he was wearing black pants, a white t-shirt and a black hoodie.

Gardaí are appealing to landowners in the Ballyfarnon, Keadue and surrounding areas to check any sheds, outhouses or other remote buildings on their lands.
Gardaí are also appealing for any persons who may have visited Lough Meelagh woods amenity over the weekend of the 16th May, 2025 and who may have seen Manuel to come forward.
Anyone with information regarding Manuel’s whereabouts is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station at (071) 965 0510, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
