UPDATE: Search called off for 27-year-old man missing for a week amid Garda update

The search for missing 27-year-old man Damien Budny who was last seen on July 9 in Tipperary has been called off.

Gardaí and Damien’s family were concerned for his well-being as he was last seen in Nenagh on the evening of 9th July 2025 and is believed to have left the area in his car —an 08 TN registered silver Hyundai Matrix.

Damien was described as being approximately 6 feet tall, of medium build, with brown hair. It was unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Gardaí have now given the update that Damian has been found safe and well and have thanked the public for their assistance.
