Topshop will reopen in Ireland before the end of the summer after five years since it closed all its stores in the country

Major fashion retailer to make its return to the Irish high street soon

Fashion giant Topshop will make its return to the Irish high street at the end of August following the closure of all its physical stores five years ago in 2020.

It has now been announced that the hugely popular brand will be available to buy in County Donegal.

McElhinneys in Ballybofey, County Donegal made the announcement on Instagram that Topshop will be launching instore on 21 August 2025.

McElhinneys will be one of three chosen European stockists for Topshop's return, the other two being in France and Denmark.

Before its closure, Topshop had eight stores around the country.

The online retailer ASOS then purchased Topshop for over €300 million. They since sold 75% of their stake to Bestseller in 2024.
