GoFundMe story
A football club in Dublin has created a GoFundMe for a young girl on their under 14's team who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Lexi Fallon, after surgery in early September, discovered that she has Ependymoma, a rare and challenging cancer, according to the GoFundMe.
To receive the treatment she needs, Lexi will have to travel to the UK for six weeks of intensive care, a journey that will take a significant toll on both her and her loving family.
The club said that: "Lexi has been an integral part of our Mark's Celtic family since the girls' section began three years ago. Her spirit and dedication shine brightly, and even after her surgery, she showed incredible strength by attending our game last Sunday to support her teammates. Lexi’s passion for the club and her unwavering support for her friends is a testament to the beautiful person she is".

"In this difficult time, we want to come together as a community to support Lexi and her family, helping to lighten the financial burden showing our love and solidarity for Lexi. Let’s unite as one family, demonstrating that together we can make a difference in her journey," the club said.
The GoFundMe has grabbed the hearts of many people in Ireland and has raised €7,460 so far.
