The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has alerted the Irish public to an urgent product recall due to fears of electric shocks.
Danish owned retail chain Normal A/S is carrying out a recall of their Gelpolish Factory UV Nail Lamp.

The risk reported to the CCPC is electric shock Due to inadequate circuit design, the user could access live parts and receive an electric shock.
The brand is Gelpolish Factory. The bar code is 5744002100249. The model number is 29.
There are approximately 82 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The product was sold by Normal from November 19 to December 18, 2025.

What to do:
Customers should stop using the product immediately.
Customers can return their product to a Normal store to receive a refund. A receipt is not required.
