LIVE: 15-year-old girl missing almost a week amid 'concern' and Garda search
A Garda appeal has been launched to find a missing teenage girl who hasn't been seen in almost a week.
Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Megan O’Brien (15), who is reported missing from Dublin 11, since Friday, January 16, 2026.
Megan is described as being 5 foot 5 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.
In an update, a Garda spokesperson said: "Megan is known to frequent the Nutgrove, Churchtown, Tallaght, Dublin 8, and Dublin City Centre areas."
Gardaí are concerned for Megan’s well-being.

Anyone with any information on Megan’s whereabouts is asked to contact Finglas Garda Station on (01) 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
