Search stood down for 15-year-old girl missing almost two weeks amid Garda update

The search for a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen at Heuston Station in Dublin has been stood down.

Megan O'Brien was reported missing from Dublin 11 since Sunday February 22, 2026.

Megan was last seen at approximately 10pm at Heuston Station, Dublin 8 on Friday, January 2 wearing a black puffer jacket, black tracksuit and black shoes.

Megan was described as being 5 foot 8 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

In an update on Tuesday, Gardaí have confirmed that Megan has been located safe and well and have thanked the public for their assistance.
