Gardai in Thomastown are at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision.
The incident happened at approximately 8am this morning at Garryduff, Paulstown. One person was pronounced dead.
The man, is in his fifties and is from the Paulstown area. His remains have been taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where a post mortem is due to take place.
The collision involved a car and a lorry. The road remains closed to allow for technical garda examinations.
