Dogs seized over welfare concerns in North Kilkenny

The operation was carried out by the ISPCA

14 dogs were seized from a property in North Kilkenny on Monday due to welfare concerns.

The ISPCA carried out a search at the property and were assisted by local gardaí. 

A garda spokesperson confirmed that there were 36 dogs on the property at the time and that 14 were seized due to concerns over their welfare.

Earlier that day more dogs were seized from another property in Tipperary by the ISPCA.
