Xtreme Beauty in Ballyragget is celebrating for the third time in the space of 12 months, after winning the 'Outstanding Make-Up Business of the Year' award and claiming a 'highly commended' status in the customer service category at the recent Irish Make Up Awards.
The competition pits together hairdressers and beauty salons from across the country, all vying for the coveted title.
The latest accolade for the local business follows winning 'Best Overall Beauty Salon' in the 'Brian Cunningham Hair, Beauty and Style Awards' in Kilkenny last March and the South Leinster 'Beauty Salon of the Year' crown at the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards in 2023.
Owner of Xtreme Beauty, Niamh Costello, was thrilled with the announcement, stating: "It's a really big achievement that doesn't come easy."
"We've had loads of, 'I've read about you on the paper or, people would be like, 'oh, you've won another award,' she claimed.
"You're nearly winning it for your clients and it's because they've supported you for so long they're really proud of you," she said.
