Community Hall upgrade planned in Ballyfoyle

A north Kilkenny community is one of the first in the county to be revealed as being successful for funding under a new Community Climate Action Programme.

Local Cllr Pat Fitzpatrick has expressed his delight over the successful application by the Ballyfoyle Community Action Team, which has secured a funding of €83,700 under the climate actions grant scheme.

This grant will enable the much-needed upgrade of the community hall/old school and support various other projects in the area.
Cllr Fitzpatrick commended the group for their  efforts and the positive impact this funding will have on the Ballyfoyle area and the wider community.
A tender for the work will be available soon on etenders.ie
