Nighttime water restrictions in place in Castlecomer and the surrounding areas of County Kilkenny have been lifted.
Uisce Éireann will continue to monitor water levels and ensure that customers are updated should any further restrictions be required.
The restrictions were deemed necessary due to low raw water levels in the reservoir and to ensure a daytime supply.
Jim Fitzgerald of Uisce Éireann thanked the community for their patience.
“We have been monitoring the water levels in the reservoir since the nighttime restrictions were in place and I am happy to report that levels have now recovered and the restrictions have been lifted," he said.
