Plans lodged for a major new development in County Kilkenny

Uisce Eireann has lodged a planning application to Kilkenny County Council for a development located at a site measuring 0.76 Ha within the townland of Ballyhimmin, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny.

The proposed development consists of well testing works within a temporary working area containing three bored test water wells, associated temporary infrastructure and all associated works above and below ground.

The associated works will include the temporary widening of the existing entrance to the site which will be reinstated to its original condition once the test well drilling works have been completed. An Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening Report and Natural Impact Statement (NIS) accompanies this application.
