The funding comes as part of an overall announcement by Minister Dara Calleary of €20.5 Million for 30 Landmark Rural Regeneration Projects Nationwide
The Town Centre Regeneration Project for Urlingford is to be allocated a total of €781,600, according to local TD John McGuinness.
The funding comes as part of an overall announcement by Minister Dara Calleary of €20.5 Million for 30 Landmark Rural Regeneration Projects Nationwide.
“This is fantastic news for Urlingford as the project plans to redesign the public realm to improve pedestrian and traffic safety and to create a town centre that encourages the regeneration of vacant properties along the street frontage,” said Deputy McGuinness.
“This will bring the centre of Urlingford to another level and will hopefully encourage further investment into the regeneration of vacant units,” he said.
