The late Nancy Tetty RIP

Nancy Tettey (née Keogh), formerly of 41 Michael Street, Kilkenny, passed away peacefully at her home in Eltham, London, on January 3, 2025, after a long illness.

Nancy attended St. John’s Infant and Girls’ Schools and the Loreto Secondary School in Kilkenny. She emigrated to London in the 1970s, where she trained as a nurse and built a successful career across several hospitals, ultimately serving in a busy doctor’s surgery in Eltham.

A passionate traveller, Nancy regularly returned to Kilkenny to visit family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tom; her children Gina, Amy, Josh and Rory, and their families; her sister Mary; her brothers Jimmy (London) and Michael (Carlow); and her many nieces, nephews, and their families. Nancy was predeceased by her sister Bridget of Bennettsbridge.

Her funeral mass and a celebration of Nancy's life took place on February 3, 2025, in Eltham. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
