The road closure is set to take place
Kilkenny County Councilv has given notice of an impending road closure in the south of the county.
The L7530 at Glenmore will be temporarily closed on Monday, February 10 from 8am to 4.30 pm under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of Kilkenny County Council to close to traffic the public road within the Piltown Municipal District to facilitate works to upgrade public lighting being undertaken by Killaree Lighting Services Ltd.
Alternative routes are via the N25, L3432, L7510 and L7529. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
Any person objecting to the proposed temporary closure of this road may lodge their objection in writing not later than 5pm on Wednesday, January, 29.
