'I'm probably going to cry' - LFC superfan Dáire Gorman prepares to say goodbye to Klopp

Liverpool superfan Dáire Gorman is preparing to say an emotional goodbye to Jürgen Klopp at the LFC manager's final game today (May 19).

Klopp was with the club for nine years before announcing his resignation at the end of the 2023/2024 season.

Dáire - who has an extremely rare condition called Crommelin Syndrome - met the beloved coach at a VIP trip to Anfield in December 2023, where he was given a guided tour of the players' training ground from Klopp.

He also met club superstars Mo Salah, Darwin Núñez and his hero, Luis Díaz, and the video of the emotional trip went viral with 30 million views.

Now, Dáire is set to bid farewell to Klopp at Liverpool's match with Wolves today.

Speaking to RTÉ News, he said, "One of my wishes when I heard Klopp was leaving was to go and see him for one more final time and that wish came true.

"Outside of football, the day he gave me at the AXA [Training Centre] is probably one of my biggest memories of him as well."

According to Dáire, Klopp treated the cleaner in the kitchen the "exact same way" he treated player Mo Salah.

Dáire believes this attitude is "the main reason" for the success at Liverpool.

Continuing, he said, "We're all going to be watching Jürgen Klopp and seeing his reaction and everything he does in his final Liverpool game. And the rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is probably going to be the most special in Liverpool's history.

"I don't know if I'm going to be able to sing it or not. I'll try my best but I'm probably going to cry again most likely.

"Thank you for the memories you've given me and the memories you gave all of us Liverpool fans, and to wish him the best of luck in his future and wishing all the success that can come his way in his life.

"Legend! And thank you for everything he's done."
