From tries to triathlon - Kilkenny rugby star forges new sporting path

Bitten by the bug, Mulhall continued on the triathlon path, completing half Ironman events before taking on the Port Macquarie Ironman 2025 (Australia) in May. In doing so, he managed to earn a qualification spot for the Ironman World Championships, which were held in Nice, France recently.

With the unwavering support from his family and friends and his persistent determination to reach the finish line, Martin accomplished yet another one of his bucket list dreams in 12 hours 15 minutes and 30 seconds. The achievement served, as Martin put it, as a good reminder to eat nutritiously, embrace your passions and take chances chasing your childhood dreams.
