Leading National Hunt trainers Henry de Bromhead, Jessica Harrington, Colm Murphy and Noel Meade will form the panel for the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Trainers’ Forum.
The forum, which will be held at the Killashee House Hotel in Naas on Wednesday at 11.30am, will provide race fans with an opportunity to hear from some of Ireland’s top trainers.
The trainers will be discussing their careers to date, the great horses they’ve handled through the years such as Sizing Europe, Moscow Flyer, Brave Inca and Harchibald, as well as their many years of experience of training and owning in Ireland.
With the first race at Punchestown due off at 3.40 pm, the forum is aimed at racegoers attending the festival. A large attendance is forecast with the feature race on the day, the Bibby Financial Services Punchestown Gold Cup (Grade 1), expected to feature the rematch between Don Cossack and Cue Card.
The event is free to attend and a complimentary brunch will be served. Each attendee must register their details with Irish Thoroughbred Marketing on www.itm.ie/forum or contact Irish Thoroughbred Marketing direct on +353 (0)45 443000.
“There has been a huge response to the Trainers’ Forum with just under 200 people registered to attend on the morning,” said Aidan McGarry, Racehorse Ownership Manager with Irish Thoroughbred Marketing.
“With a top panel lined up along with a brilliant day of racing to follow, the morning is an ideal way to kick start the day. Those still wishing to attend should register online or by telephone as soon as possible.”
