The Langton’s tennis league is in full flight at the moment. It is great to see the courts so busy in January.
The action has been intense, and four pairings have yet to drop a game.
Lyn Guilfoyle and Colm Culleton, Laura Heffernan and Ivan Morrissey, Kevin Browne and Jackie Feely all have maximum points (50) after five games. Bronagh Ryan and Ivor O’Bien have played four games and they have 40 points.
Other notable high scorers are Mary Ryan and John Kirk 55/60 points; Kevin Hanley and Jackie Kealy 47/50 points and Ruth O’Leary and Maeve Power 64/70 points. A reminder that the American tournaments will resume on Friday nights.
