LADY luck has proven to be the case in the Tuesday Scramble competition at Castlecomer GC - each of the winning teams has had at least one lady in their ranks!

Ann O’Neill, Larry Power and Nuala Mahon set a record score for the year of 24 1/6pts. With a fractional difference, the score of 24 2/3pts brought Michael Brennan, Eileen Healy and Seamus Malone in as a very close second.

On May 14 the grouping of Michael Furlong, Eileen Healy and David Lynch won with a score of 25 1/3pts.

It is interesting to note that no all-ladies or all-gentleman teams have won so far. Two of the most featured players, Eileen Healy and Ann O’Neill, are definitely making their mark on the weekly competition. Of the gentlemen, Michael Brennan and Larry Power are the highest repeat performers.
